Welcome to our nationwide celebration of adoption. The Freddie Mac Foundation is honored to be a founding sponsor of National Adoption Day, and to support the amazing efforts of individuals, nonprofits and communities to finalize the adoptions of thousands of children in foster care. We’re delighted to be part of an event that over the years continues to grow across the nation, and to join you in raising critical awareness of the need for adoptive parents.

Finding permanent homes for children in foster care is one of the top priorities of the Freddie Mac Foundation. Your efforts have a very personal, special meaning for me, as my wife and I adopted two of our children, both from foster care.
