Your local event not only generates awareness of foster care adoption in your community, it is also part of a powerful national effort to find a loving adoptive family for every child in need. As a former foster child, foster mother and adoptive mother, I want to thank you and the Dave Thomas Foundation for all you do for foster families. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption has truly helped so many agencies across the country to increase visibility for waiting children and awareness of the increasing need for adoptive families. Through the Wendy's Wonderful Kids program, we have been able to help many children find stability, love and permanence. Thank you for continuing to transform the lives of children in foster care.
